DESCRIPTION:Fundy Tidal Inc. (Fundy Tidal) would like to cordially invite local residents\, businesses and community stakeholders to attend a public meeting. Fundy Tidal has received approval from the Province for two small-scale tidal Community Feed-in Tariff (COMFIT) projects in Grand and Petit Passages. A requirement of all COMFIT project developers is to hold two public meetings in the community where projects are proposed to provide details of the project and seek community input and feedback. A meeting will also be held in the months ahead in Digby regarding the COMFIT project approved for Digby Gut.\n Further details on the Province`s COMFIT program are available at www.nsrenewables.ca. Fundy Film screened their Manufactured Landscapes in January\, 2007.\nFollowing the tremendous success of  Manufactured Landscapes\, Baichwal (Payback\, Act of God) reunited with Burtynsky for this visually arresting and enlightening film documenting our engineered manipulation of water\, and the far-reaching repercussions of abusing this valuable resource. \nBurtynsky`s breathtaking landscape photography is at the forefront of the film\, as Baichwal investigates the role that water plays in cultures and industries in North America\, Iceland\, Asia and India.
